How Laser Therapy Works
Low-level laser therapy for smoking cessation operates on principles similar to the 5,000 year old ancient Asian healing art of Acupuncture. Acupuncture is known to reduce tension, increase circulation, and enable the body to relax more deeply.
After 35 years of use internationally in Europe and Canada, low-level laser for nicotine addiction is available in the United States. Since 2003, low-level laser therapy for smoking cessation has been studied to learn if it promotes the release of endorphins in the body. Endorphins are natural chemicals in your body that signal your system to decrease stress and increase energy.
Freedom uses a low-powered (soft) laser – no more powerful than a light bulb. Laser is applied to energy points related to addiction. The laser therapy procedure is external, non-invasive, pain free, drug free, and non-thermal.

Freedom Laser Therapy is based one 30 minute session. Naturally the physical aspects of nicotine withdrawal subside within the first 72 hours, which is considered the most difficult time for a person to quit smoking. The Low-level Laser Therapy session is intended to naturally stimulate endorphins, thereby reducing or eliminating the physical withdrawal symptoms and cravings normally associated with quitting smoking.
If you have cancer or epilepsy, are pregnant, use a pacemaker or are taking photosensitive medication, laser therapy should not be used for smoking cessation. Not treating these particular clients is a precautionary measure. Freedom Laser Therapy does not diagnose or treat illness or prescribe medication. Laser therapy is not intended to replace medical care. We recommend that you consult your physician for a professional diagnosis of your health.
The low-level laser cannot remove your psychological addiction to nicotine. Each client has a unique level to his/her addiction, so the laser therapy procedure is never guaranteed. For over the past three decades, thousands of former smokers who have experienced quit smoking laser therapy have declared the benefits of the procedure in assisting them with remaining nicotine-free.
